Neshaminy Community Aquatics
Dan began his career with Neshaminy in 1964 when he became a member of the Foreign Language Department. In 1969 Dan was named head coach for the Redskin boys' swim team and in 1984 he was appointed Community Aquatics Director. Dan is also an active member of the Health Services Committee of the Bucks County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Dan was recently honored by the Red Cross for over 30 years of volunteer service. Dan retired from the academic classroom and coaching in 2002 but has remained as director of our Aquatic program. Among his certifications are:

As a coach Dan has produced 7 All-Americans, one national champion, and a number of All-State swimmers. As an instructor, Dan is very active in the training and certification of local swimming teachers and swim coaches. Dan was inducted into the Neshaminy All Sports Hall of Fame in January 2008. He was also inducted into the Father Judge Swimming Hall of Honor as a member of the 1956-57 City Championship team in 2013.and as a "stand alone" inductee in 2018. Dan recently received a citation for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives honoring him for 40 years of volunteer service in the aquatics industry.
Dan's other aquatic activities include participating in a numerous safety audits for area pools and water park facilities . Dan continues to teach and train local instructors and serve as a water safety risk- management consultant..
