All Lifeguard and CPR recerts for 2010  

Lifeguarding and  WSI are Spring Programs in Neshaminy   

What is listed below is our Spring re- certification program.  2011 Classes will be posted  in February

                            We will be having TWO opportunities this year at Sandburg Middle School

           Lifeguard Re-cert - Tuesday, May 11, 2010* –or Tuesday May 18 both at 2:30 PM* -Pool

In past years we  have managed to do both Guarding and CPR on one day for those who prefer to stay and keep working. We will try to do it this year too. No guarantees!!!

            CPR Re-cert  -- Either: Wed.  May 12 or Wed., May 19, 2010– at 2:30                                                                                Carl Sandburg Middle School Auditorium

All classes will start as near to the scheduled time as possible and will end when they are finished. I will not estimate the finish time. That usually depends on the size of the class and the preparedness of the candidate. That means if you don't reread materials or practice your skills before the class it could be a long afternoon. Lifeguard re-cert candidates need to remember that your credential is invalid without a "CPR/PR card. There are many levels of CPR but  CPR for the professional Rescuer  is the only certification  that validates your Lifeguarding cert.  If  you have renewed your CPR at another location that's fine. I, however, must see the certificate before I hand you a new lifeguard card. If it is an "American Heart" card it must be the equivalent of the Red Cross "CPR for the Professional Rescuer" card.

COST:  CPR Re-cert --. $15.00 -Lifeguard Re-certification (valid for 3 years) --- $35.00-Both: $45.00

I must have your payment at the start of the course.
